A few from the yashica from around five weeks back. We love summertime. And we love my brother.
Despite him being younger and a little shorter than me, I look up to him. I talked to him about the first photo and how it really inspired me; to possibly do a series about Marines after the war. I feel like this photo captures....something; I can't really place it but I guess for me it captures something a little more personal. A feeling of pride that my little brother is a Marine, a veteran and maintained secure forces through both tours while making Sgt rank in the process. You deserve that beer, devil dog.

A few people requested of few photos of Ingrid and I....and Steph has been at me to post these for a few days...so here are three.

We had a busy day today. Ingrid did awesome. Here are two of 100 or so...

We had company last night. Our friends from the River Valley came up to see Ingrid. Holly,Jonny, Neil,Katie and Eden. When we visited them at Christmas, I shot some photos of Holly & Jonny. Here are a few of the keepers.

Today we did similar things. We woke up. We ate. We stared at each other. Then we took photos.
We'll continue this until dad goes back to work. And even then, we'll find time.

Ingrid finally makes her debut on Steph Sunday.
I have been looking forward to shooting the 40 week photos of my girls since we got home, but to be honest; now I'm a little sad. Sad that this series is over, but feel so blessed that Ingrid came healthy, on time, and Beautiful. Thanks to all of those that followed this maternity series of my wife and baby. I have appreciated all the emails and comments of support.
I'm sure I'll come up with another series for Sunday.... :)

My wife is the strongest person I know. I love you Steph. You, me and our girl...Life is beyond good.

It was a busy Sunday. We shot these after grilling out and before fireworks.
We have a few more photos from the family get-together that I'll post later.
A few more things to do before she comes...but first...I'm headed to play basketball in my men's recreational league. Sad.
Sad...because at my age, you gladly pay money to play pickup basketball. Meanwhile, Lebron & d-Wade hold out for 120 mil. Where will they choose???? "Oh, the humanity!"
