Little different version of SAH. Outside version. Because of the foot of snow we got last night.
Jake: Sorry I missed Film Friday. I was snowed in. That's a horrible and confusing excuse. I'm lazy is the real answer.

Here are a few shots of our dining room. We are still on the look out for a credenza. If you hear about a mid-century buffet for sale, please let us know. :)
Steph and I painted our silhouettes on oval wooden blocks from Michaels.
Our friend Holly painted the picture of Steph and I. She does some amazing work. You can check out more of her work here.
We got the wall decals from a cool etsy shop called Wall Decors .I think they are out of Canada. Anyway, you can check them out here.
Steph's mom got us the table runner for Christmas from Anthropologie. The clock is from UO.

The Jacob Cain
Shot in Eureka Springs on Jan 1st, 2010 with my Yashica Mat 124G. Jake and I were over in Eureka for Justin's wedding and decided to take a few photos downtown before he left for Salt Lake City. You can check out his new blog here.
Thanks to Steve and Renee for my new camera. More square Eureka photos soon.

These are a few shots of Cody and Phoenix from the Whitney family shoot. As my dad always says, "The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree." These two guys crack me up. Probably one of the coolest families I know.

It was 15 degrees when I shot this video two weeks ago.
Today it was 55 degrees. Weird Arkansas weather.

Field Test
Two things I love today: bacon and mail.
Steph made breakfast for dinner last night. My favorite. Eggs, bacon, toast w/grape jelly and milk.

I went home at lunch to find a house filled with the sweet smell of bacon; the dessert of meats, and a box on the front porch that contained my 120 film prints and 8mm film.
I love ordering online/sending off film because opening the boxes are almost the best part. It's like Christmas again.
I sent off 4 rolls last week. One roll went as far back as Oct when we went to the pumpkin patch.

Here are four prints I quickly picked. I liked how they flowed together. The last photo is of our back yard/field.

I am reffing upwards basketball tomorrow then getting photos wrapped up for clients: Cowell senior photos, Statlers, and Whitneys. Busy weekend. Hope yours is fun.

00s are over. Time Magazine called it "The Decade From Hell". Despite the slumping economy these past few years, this decade was good to me. I graduated high school, college, married my love and bought a house. The next step....yeah yeah, I know...a baby; that's coming this year.

With those great moments came big purchases. I bought my dad's (his dad's) 1962 Pontiac, bought and created Stephanie's engagement ring and bought this glorious 1983 track suit from Goodwill.

I wanted to post the past five years of me on New Year's Eve in my 80's track suit; but I couldn't find a photo from 2008....but I know I slipped into the suit at some point before midnight that year.

I'm off to a slow start, but my resolution is to post more photos, videos, artwork, etc on this blog.
Oh, and to fit into this track suit for many more years to come.
